at the Fab Lab
There are two courses:
This summer in the Fab Lab they will be running week long summer schools. The aim of these is to have fun in a creative way involving young people in design and making activities where they can make interest and useful things by sketching, designing and using digital equipment in a fully supervised and safe environment.
Fab Lab is a workshop equipped with a laser cutter, 3D printer, CNC router and vinyl cutter where you can develop craft, engineering, electronics and product design projects.
The summer school will be based in a 5 days program were the kids will work on projects centred on solving problems and learning about design and digital fabrication. We aim to encourage the next generation of designers, makers, engineers and inventors and entrepreneurs!
We will be running two courses; the first one will be for those aged between 11-16 years old from 9am to 4pm Monday 4th to Friday the 8th of August. The second summer school will be for kids aged between 8-11 years old from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd of August. The cost will be £85 for the week, (VAT and materials included.) Maximum numbers will be 10 people, so we need you to book in quickly so you don’t miss the chance of a great week for your kids where they will be learning how to make cool and fun things in the Fab Lab! We aim to inspire!
