Give Us A Break 2010, a local charity formed by Dawn Raynor who has twin boys that suffer with Tuberous Sclerosis, a rare genetic disorder that causes intractable epilepsy, wants to build the RaynorShine Centre in West Cumbria which will provide short break facilities for disabled children and their parents / carers.
As part of their fundraising activities they are holding a Charity Golf Competition at Whitehaven Golf Course.

CN Group will be producing an A5 Programme for the Charity Golf Event. As well as the programme, CN group are producing a double page feature which will appear in the Whitehaven News and Times & Star the week after the event to highlight all the event activity and support from all who took part, locally reaching over 78,000 readers. The feature will also appear online on Whitehaven News, Times & Star and the News & Star website at no extra cost, giving an online audience of 373,455 monthly page impressions. .
