IMechE Event: Boiler User Group 2019

9th October 2019 - 10th October 2019   Download to calendar

Nottingham Belfry Hotel, Nottingham

The user group will address issues relating to all aspects of the design, operation and maintenance of power boilers (fired boilers associated fully or partly with power generation activities) with a wide scope of plant areas and fuels (waste, biomass and fossil fuels) being covered. Some current issues include use of waste and biomass fuels, future emissions compliance, the impact of renewables, the capacity mechanism, operational flexibility (including preservation) and plant decommissioning.

The event format will encourage open debate; using informal presentations and discussion to facilitate networking and sharing of experience among the boiler community.

Call for presentations open until 14 April 2019:view topics and how to submit on the event website:www.imeche.org/bug2019
