Innovus: Characterisation Challenges in the Nuclear Industry

22nd October 2015 (all day)

9.30am to 3.30pm at Rheged, Penrith

Cumbria has been the heart of the UK nuclear industry for over 60 years, and is set to continue as a global centre of excellence in nuclear research, development and technology commercialisation.

Innovus aims to bring together SMEs with leading figures from industry and academia to give unique insights into immediate and future challenges in the nuclear industry and outline the potential opportunities for businesses who may have the knowledge, expertise and vision to help solve them through technology development.

This event gives innovators and academics the opportunity to hear directly from subject matter experts about one of the key challenges facing decommissioning; the characterisation of facilities and wastes. Delegates will understand the opportunities for innovation and investment.

An exhibition showcasing the best of the industry’s characterisation capabilities will provide a high-profile arena for promotion and networking.
