During this seminar, employment law solicitor Hazel Phillips will be looking at what employers need to do to conduct a "successful" redundancy exercise and will provide a basic overview of best practice in terms of procedures.  Other aspects to be explored include:

  • different types of redundancy situations
  • differences between individual and collective consultation (and what needs to be done in each case)
  • getting selection pools and selection criteria right
  • what is/is not suitable alternative employment
