Following on from last year's successful Sellafield Ltd Business/Safety Excellence days at the Energus centre you are invited to join this year's EHSQ Excellence day. It has a slightly different format this year and you are are invited to attend to listen to the following celebrities:
Lord Sebastian Coe
As an athlete Seb’s talent and commitment earned twelve world records and two Olympic gold medals; the story of the early rivalry is set for cinema release in 2015. In presentations Seb shares the lessons from leading the most successful Games in modern times. He highlights the need to be seen to deliver on your vision, to put together a resilient team from diverse backgrounds to communicate pre-emptively and to leave nothing at all to chance.
Helen is a television presenter, best known for co-presenting the BBC children’s programme Blue Peter from 2008 until 2013. Since 2013, she has co-presented the factual BBC one programme Holiday Hit Squad. Helen was born in Kirkby Thore in Cumbria and graduated from Cumbria Institute of the Arts where she gained a BA degree in journalism. Helen has undertaken many personal challenges including; ultra marathons, kayaking the Amazon, tightrope walking and in 2012 she became the first person to reach the South Pole using a bicycle.
Also on the day will be external stands from the Sellafield Ltd supply chain and EHSQ institutions as well as our Sellafield Ltd EHSQ improvement team stands.
The presence of Seb and Helen will attract a 'full house' (750 delegates) so look out for booking arrangements when the bookings system goes 'live' in August on the Sellafield Ltd, CQI and IOSH websites.
The main hall will have the best 25 Sellafield Ltd EHSQ improvement team stands who have been assessed from an applications pool with more 100 entries, together with up to 20 external company stands.
