Copper Consultancy is a public relations consultancy specialising in community and stakeholder engagement for energy and infrastructure organisations, the public sector and developers. We mix traditional and innovative techniques to help clients deliver projects on time and to budget whilst protecting and enhancing reputation.
Copper Consultancy launched in May 2013 and is the new name for 3G Communications following its merger with Sauce Consultancy. We bring leading-edge skills and expertise in engaging communities on waste management projects, recycling and local planning.
We are expert at providing planning and construction communications strategies and support for major and controversial projects in the energy sector, including power generation, transmission and distribution.
We also provide communications and stakeholder engagement for:
waste management (and energy from waste) projects;
transport, including new road and rail projects;
property development including housing, retail and brownfield regeneration;
and public sector consultation.
Our involvement with a project can start as early as the feasibility stage, with community profiling and impact assessments. These studies inform the optioneering and stakeholder engagement process which is crucial to any project, but particularly those requiring planning consents. We work with clients through construction to manage day-to-day issues, providing media relations, public affairs and crisis communications as required.
Copper Consultancy is the only consultancy to hold the Consultation Institute’s Practitioner Partner status, and in 2011 we won the CIPR PRide Gold Award for Community Relations. We are alsomAchilles and ISO9001 certified, meeting quality and procurement standards for major clients.
Copper Consultancy has offices in Cumbria, Bristol and Ipswich, and a head office in London.
Our core services are consultation and stakeholder engagement, public affairs, media, crisis management, facilitation, data capture and analysis and reporting. Our key sectors are energy, transport and waste.
