A message from BECBC – November 2020
Following the Parliamentary vote to introduce a new four-week lockdown across England commencing on Thursday 5 November 2020, as part of the national effort to decrease COVID-19 case numbers, it is clear that all parts of the United Kingdom face yet another challenging period.
As a membership organisation we will be closely following government guidance and regulations as we have done since the initial lockdown period earlier in the year. This is to ensure we always operate ourselves with safety and wellbeing uppermost in our thoughts for of our members, associates and indeed all of the community in which we live and work, as an absolute priority.
Although it is not business as usual for many of us in this new norm of a virtual or a different way of working, you can be assured that, not only will we continue to support all of you as members and individuals through this current lockdown period and beyond, that we will also try to help you to adapt to any further new changes or support packages to successfully operate business cascading through the democratic process. On our website we will always have the latest fiscal support information coming out from the GOV.UK pages.
You are aware that we have adopted the phrase “ Nobody Left Behind” and we really mean it. So If any of us involved with BECBC, including our management team and volunteer members on both the Board and Shadow Board, can be of any assistance to you at any time, please don’t hesitate to get in touch . This message though is one that has been taken up by so many of our membership and we know and acknowledge through the many opportunities to have networking sessions within our meetings, that there is a high degree of mutual support available through expression by large numbers of individuals within our membership.
Reach out and we will be there for you.
