BECBC member undertakes a Charity Walk Mountain Challenge

Phil Monks, from Capula (a BECBC member), with over 30 of his colleagues are doing a sponsored 27 mile walk (with 5000 feet of ascent!) in July in aid of Wateraid - a charity which helps prevent disease through the provision of clean water in some of the poorest countries in the world.

The team has the catchy name of Dam Fools as they are walking round a number of reservoirs in the beautiful Peak District. The name is particularly apt for Phil, as to make the walk more of a personal challenge, some friends have decided to get married on the day before the walk!

If you would like to support Phil and his team, and would like the Government to make a contribution as well, click here to go to www.justgiving.com/DamFools  - they are grateful for any support you give and thank you on behalf of  Wateraid, who rely on people and companies to donate and keep them going.
