Bilfinger IAS is hosting a Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Sector Group Meeting

Bilfinger Industrial Automation Services (IAS) Ltd is pleased to be hosting the meeting on behalf of the British Energy Coast Business Cluster (BECBC). The business cluster has over 300 membership companies involved in the interests of the nuclear and renewable energy industries focusing on Britain’s Energy Coast of West Cumbria. 

The Nuclear Decommissioning and Waste Sector Group Meeting 
runs on a quarterly basis. The initial purpose of these regular events was to inform suppliers of the opportunities and developments of key nuclear projects. This approach has since evolved into supplier-hosted events that provide an opportunity for BECBC members with a particular interest to find out more and meet representatives of the host company, broadening networks and strengthening connections.

Bilfinger IAS‘s Nuclear Account Manager said: 
“We are proud to host the event this year providing lots of opportunity for our fellow members to see what we do and how we work. The visit will involve our invited guests to see first hand our production facility and the good work that is being carried out. There will also be updates from Sellafield on decommissioning progress, current opportunities and updates from the LLWR Commercial Team.“

The event is deliberately planned the day before the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority’s (NDA) supply chain event held at Manchester in Event City. The meeting takes place on the 2nd November followed by the NDA supply chain event on 3rd November, where Bilfinger will also be exhibiting.
