COVID-19 Business Key Priorities Action Plan for BECBC members

The past week in the UK has been an unprecedented, fast developing chain of events. As business owners and managers we are in unknown territory and it’s only through collaboration, sharing knowledge, experience, challenges and working together that we can all get through the next few weeks and months with the aim to come out the other side wiser and stronger.  

After conversations, sharing of questions and communications from staff, suppliers, customers and the wider support network a group of BECBC members determined the main priorities that we recommend an SME business owner focuses on. The outcome of these discussions was to prioritise planning and then implementing actions on the things that you can influence.

Lee Grears of Responsive NDT and Rachel Ritson of Grisdales Estate Agents, from  different sectors serving the West Cumbria Industry and community shared their challenges and the vast amount of requests for information they were having from different stakeholder. Peter Fleming, BECBC Board Director and an SME then helped structure a Critical Business Action Plan working document by continually referring to their needs.
