With immediate effect, Dianne Richardson has joined the Management Team of Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster (BECBC) as the Lead for the Socio Economic Sector Group and with particular responsibility as the liaison for the Business and Schools Collaboration Project.
Dianne joins Tom Scaife (Baines Wilson) and Tim Ashworth (MMI Thornton Tomasetti) on the BECBC Management Team, a group that runs in parallel with the elected Board, providing specialist advice and support as required.
Dianne is a familiar face for many involved in BECBC as she’s been attending member meetings for over eight years and has been actively involved in the Socio Economic Sector Group for six of those. This reflects her role at Balfour Beatty where she is the Social Impact and Communications Manager on the BEP Delivery Team.
“Even before I was involved in the socio economic side of things through my job, I was contributing locally on a smaller, personal scale,” says Dianne. “Being part of the Business Cluster work in this area is a chance to make an even bigger difference and to encourage other companies of all sizes to get involved too. I hope that stepping up to the role on the Management Team will give the volunteer Board the support that it needs to achieve even more in the years ahead.”
