Carlisle Lake District Airport recently announced that the first commercial passenger flight for over 25 years will take-off with Loganair on 4th July 2019. The airport will connect Cumbria and the Lake District with major tourism and business hubs in London, Dublin and Belfast.
Cumbria and the Lake District receives 41.5 million visitors per year and so the economic benefits of this highly anticipated project are significant
