Financial Insights and Zeitgeist Communication extend their special COVID-19 business recovery offer in light of ongoing need

The business consultancies, Kirsten Prosser Financial Insights Ltd and Zeitgeist Communication Ltd, have decided to extend their special offer to businesses in need of business recovery and re-start advice.

Cumbria has seen a flood of enquiries from businesses for consultancy support over the last few weeks. Businesses are in urgent need of concrete support to help them move into recovery from the results of the COVID-19 pandemic. Cumbria Business Growth Hub recently closed expressions of interest after receiving nearly 800 applications in a little over a fortnight for grants offered to businesses to buy in extra advice.

Jutta Devenish, Managing Director for Zeitgeist Communication notes: “It can be very hard for small business owners. The economic impact of COVID-19 has left many with what can seem like an insurmountable mountain of decisions. Having straight-forward advice from a third party, without the complication of long application processes, can make a real difference – quickly.

One of the businesses the Business Growth Consultants have worked with is Lillyhall-based, Energus.

“Energus decided to ask Jutta and Kirsten to perform a business health check during the COVID-19 pandemic, to see if there were any areas of the business we could look to change or develop further. Jutta and Kirsten are very professional with a friendly, skilful approach. They managed to gain a great understanding of our organisation instantly. It has been a great help to have input from two experts in their field to guide us into the future. We are looking forward to implementing their recommendations and seeing the changes these make for Energus.’ Faye Brown, Business Development and Marketing Lead, Energus.

“Jutta and I are bringing more than 25 years’ experience working in both the corporate and SME world to small businesses so they can operate with confidence. It is all about not standing still, gaining clarity and moving forward. Our experience allows us to ask the right questions objectively and create clarity around which areas of the business leaders need to address in order to maximise their opportunities. We are really enjoying working with leaders in this way and just encourage others to take up offers like ours at this point. It can make a huge difference.” Kirsten Prosser, Director of Financial Insights.

The two consultancies, working together as BGC, Business Growth Consultants, had originally put the offer for their Business Health Check and Advisory out until the end of September. Seeing the response and ongoing need, the offer will now continue to at least to the end of the year.

Both consultancies are part of Britain’s Energy Coats Business Cluster.
