Kendal Digital Agency Opens Podcast and Media Studio
Award winning agency A Digital (a BECBC member) has expanded its office space to incorporate a new podcast and media studio, The PodPod, at their premises in the Lake District.
Based on the outskirts of Kendal the podcasting and media studio is equipped with a variety of audio and video kit for hosting and recording podcasts, webinars and interviews.
The agency’s clients include James Cropper, Hawkshead Relish and Windermere Lake Cruises (as well as BECBC).
A Digital founder, Andrew Armitage has been hosting his own podcast called The Clientside since early 2019. Each episode offers insights and discussions for those working “clientside” to expand their knowledge of digital marketing, strengthening the impact they can have in their job roles.
Andrew commented “When we learnt the office next door would be available, I knew it would be the perfect space to create a small recording studio - not only for our own podcast production, but also to support our clients and provide a unique opportunity for local businesses to record their own podcasts.”
“Podcasting is a lot of fun and doesn’t have to be complicated - in fact it's very easy to get started and can be a great way to build your brand, extend your network and develop your speaking skills. It’s a medium that’s seeing huge growth and one that increasingly ought to be included in your marketing strategy.
A Digital plan to make the studio available to hire by the hour, with or without production support from their experienced team once social distancing restrictions are further relaxed. A series of workshops are also being planned to guide businesses through the process of starting their own podcast.
