Millions of bricks to be made from waste

Commercial production is set to start of eco-friendly bricks made from construction and demolition waste.

Kenoteq, a spin-out from Heriot-Watt University, has been awarded £1m in funding by Zero Waste Scotland to commercialise production of its brick made of recycled construction waste, the K-Briq, to more than two million bricks per year.
