Members benefit from more BECBC e-Networking!
The second BECBC e-Networking event on 2 September 2020 was again ranked excellent by participating BECBC members.
Attendees each used their 1 minute 'elevator pitch' introductions as they took part in speed networking with each other in a round of 5 minute breakout 1-2-1 sessions, followed by general discussions, which led to some possible collaboration projects!
Ewen Alcorn, Director of MacArthur Recruitment, commented:
"This was my first purely online networking event with BECBC. MacArthur Recruitment are members of the BECBC and always enjoyed the face-to-face meeting at Energus; these have been sorely missed over the last few months. I found today's session interesting and useful, making some great new contacts and building on existing relationships. We have positive business actions and leads out of the meeting. I would completely recommend for everyone to attend. Many thanks."
Vicky Ritson, Inspira & BECBC BSCP Coordinator, also found the session useful:
"I really found it useful, aside from my usual BSCP hat, I was able to tell members about the support that we can offer companies who may be in the unfortunate position of having to make workers redundant such as free careers guidance, help with job search, CV update and interview preparation’ Vicky Ritson, Inspira & BSCP Coordinator"
Other members, joining BECBC facilitators (Hazel and John) for this session, were:
- Jacqui Currie of Cumbria Community Foundation
- Sharon Brook of North Lakes Hotel and Spa
- Antony Morton of Metisplan
