The UK’s Investment In A Green Recovery Could Boost Hydrogen

COVID-19 continues to be a medical mystery, but its impact on carbon dioxide emissions and renewables is plain to see.

In the wake of the pandemic’s global lockdown, emissions have plummeted, while the share of renewables in the energy mix is rising. In its latest report, the International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts renewable electricity generation will climb by nearly 5 percent and make up almost 30 percent of electricity generated this year − despite the ongoing disruption.
