Beacon Hill School - LLMAC Industrial Projects
Could you support this innovative local labour market aligned curriculum by offering a 6 week project to c25 students in year 9 or 10.
Starting at the beginning of each half term, your commitment is one half day, each week for 6 weeks in total.
Year 9 - Tuesdays between 9.15am and 12.25pm Year 10 - Wednesdays between 9.15am and 12.25pm
Teaching staff are available to help you develop your idea and deliver in the classroom.
Usually some sort of problem is posed and students are encouraged to research and provide solutions. This could be a genuine problem you are experiencing in your particular workplace. (for example see: https://www.facebook.com/beaconhillcommunityschool/posts/2762120650547490
Students gain valuable and transferable skills while you benefit enormously from your interaction with the workforce of tomorrow.
