Students will get to meet a range of healthcare and emergency services professionals (those that do the job) and educators (the people who run the course). With over 350 professions in the healthcare, plus the roles in Blue light services, these organisations have come together to let students explore the roles in more detail. Speak to real professionals who are passionate about their job:-
- GP’s Nursing and midwifery staff - Medics and dentists
- Scientific and technical (radiographers, bio scientists, pharmacy) - Paramedics and technicians
- Allied Health (Dieticians, Physios, Occupational Health, Podiatry) - Front line Police Fire service
- Social workers - Admin, domestics and IT in an health and blue light environment
Educators will sit alongside the relevant staff groups so it is easier for students to find out about how to work and study in healthcare or the emergency services.
Aimed at Year 11 upwards - definitely students who have already identified an interest in health/emergency services related roles, anyone else who may be inspired by the varied roles available across the organisations.
Schools can book via Eventbrite between 1-3.15pm (open to the general public from 3.30pm).
