St Joseph's School - Global Entrepreneurship Week - Breakfast & Lunchtime Talks
Global Entrepreneurship Week is an annual event where, among other things, St Joseph's invite local people along to talk about their career and how they made a success of their life – the choices that they made, the attitudes and beliefs they hold, along with academic and professional routes etc. The more personal the more the students engage. The presentation can be as formal or informal as you like.
Breakfast or lunch will be provided for yourself and the young people. A member of staff will also attend. Breakfast talks run between 8.30am – 9.10am.Lunchtime talks run between 12.45pm – 1.35pm.
The main aim is to get the pupils to think about possible careers and to be aspirational; to widen their knowledge and to help them to begin to think about the routes available to them when they leave St Joseph’s.The whole school membership is involved, year’s 7 to 11 and the pupils sign up to come along so you can be sure of an interested audience - usually about 15 to 25 pupils. They do try and actively engage as many KS4 (year 10 and 11) pupils to come along as possible.
Registration is required for this event. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with details of who will be attending this event.
