.....about upcoming meetings, a goodbye to one of the team, your chance to feed into what happens with the Net Zero Group moving forward, member news from McMenon and Member Focus with Thomas Graham and Sons.
April's Professional Services Group meeting will be an opportunity for our members to hear, explore, discuss and work together on how we can fill the many job vacancies and particularly attract talent to our businesses across the region. Thank you to Lakes College for hosting and sponsoring this meeting.
As you know Charlotte stepped down from the board of BECBC in April but had hoped to carry on chairing the Net Zero Group. Unfortunately she is having to leave us. Charlotte first joined us as the Chair of the Shadow Board when it was initially developed, moving from there to the main board and latterly instigating the Net Zero Group.
She also took the lead on developing the new website which we are now benefitting from. Everyone on the BECBC Team will miss her energy and enthusiasm and wish her the best of luck moving forward.
BECBC Net Zero Group
Charlotte's departure gives us an opportunity to take a step back and look at the Net Zero Group. If you're interested in being part of that conversation-likely to mean a one hour meeting to discuss the group-please let us know by replying to this email.
McMenon Engineering has taken another major step forward in their exciting growth plans with the appointment of a Global Sales Director. Pieter Mos joined McMenon this week and he brings over 30 years of international sales and leadership experience to the Workington based company. He will lead McMenon’s flow and temperature instrumentation sales team, already having an abundance of knowledge on the subject having previously worked in sales for global giants ABB.
