BECBC is a membership organisation bringing together businesses from all different backgrounds. Our core values are Clean Energy, Community and Collaboration, and what ties those together is Business.
The BECBC was created to support the energy industry and grow the supply chain providing opportunities for businesses across Britain's Energy Coast.
Supported heavily by Sellafield Ltd and the NDA, BECBC has a strong presence in the nuclear industry. Cumbria is also home to the Second largest offshore wind farm in the world. BECBC members include Tier 1 multinationals and major supply chain businesses, through to sole traders and small start-ups. Whether you are looking to start in energy, or grow your business, BECBC can support you to gain technical knowledge and provide industry connections across the clean energy sector.
“My experience as a member of BECBC has been very positive. The monthly events in Cumbria have given a good understanding of the nuclear market and energy industry, and the opportunity to talk and develop relationships with different players in the supply chain”Beatriz Echeveste, Idom UK, Director
Looking after our environment, our community and our future leaders is a priority for BECBC and our membership.
We have a dedicated Social Value Delivery Group who ensure that through the growth of the energy supply chain comes opportunity for our communities and the next generation of young professionals. BECBC provides a platform for engagement with local schools, charities, young professionals and new business start-ups, offering regular updates from our MPs to ensure that local business has a voice within government.
