Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you see the value in collaboration and collective action? The BECBC Social Value Group is the place for individuals and organisations who are committed to delivering real impact through their work.
This group brings together a wide range of participants - from the Sellafield supply chain and social enterprises to charities and third sector organisations. You don’t need to be a BECBC member to take part; anyone with a genuine interest in social value is welcome to attend.
What We Do:
Meeting monthly, the group focuses on a wide variety of community-driven topics and challenges. Each session is themed, covering areas such as:
We don’t just talk, we share ideas, learn from one another, and identify ways to collaborate on real-world solutions.
The group meets from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, typically on a Tuesday, at Lakes College, a central and accessible venue for participants across the region.
The Social Value Group is inclusive, supportive, and action-focused. Whether you’re a seasoned professional in social value or just starting out, you’ll find a welcoming space to connect, learn, and contribute.
Be part of a group making a lasting difference - join us at our next meeting.
