usion Technology Facility Open Day – Saturday 30th August
UKAEA’s Fusion Technology Facility (FTF) in South Yorkshire is holding its first public open day on Saturday 30th August at 10:00 - 16:00.
The Open Day, suitable for all ages, offers visitors a unique opportunity to see in-person how we are developing the technology to provide sustainable fusion energy.
A typical visit will last around one hour and includes:
• An introduction to fusion
• Work hall tours
• Science workshops - hands-on activities for all ages
• Q&A with UKAEA staff
• Spot the robot dog
• Refreshments available
