Industry voices: Shaping the future of advanced manufacturing

Innovate UK is developing programmes to support the government’s Industrial Strategy and Advanced Manufacturing Sector Plan, with a focus on the six frontier industries. To help shape this work, we want to hear directly from industry about where the highest growth potential lies.

Initial funding has already been made available through the £5 million Advanced Manufacturing Supply Chain Innovation Feasibility Studies competition. Building on this, Innovate UK is developing further funding calls and exploring how to narrow the scope to target areas with the greatest growth potential, aligned with the UK’s existing capabilities.

We are keen to hear from manufacturers of all sizes, including OEMs and the wider supply chain. We want to understand:

• Where you see the key innovation opportunities across the six frontier industries
• The potential size of future markets, and the evidence or trends that support this
• How well UK companies are positioned to capitalise on these opportunities
• What catalysts are needed to unlock growth and strengthen resilience in UK manufacturing

This is an opportunity to ensure your organisation’s voice is heard as part of the prioritisation process. The event will also provide valuable networking opportunities, including engagement with government officials.
