Another major period of growth for Orano as it expands its presence in the UK

Owing to significant and sustained successes across the UK, Orano is gearing for another period of major growth in the UK and, as a result, has some brilliant opportunities to join its team.

With trusted and established positions on major UK civil nuclear and defence contracts, Orano has a unique offer to clients in the UK, combining its experience as an owner- operator of nuclear fuel cycle sites in France with a deep knowledge of UK client and nuclear sector priroties. Working for Orano means you get to be at the heart of innovative and exciting international collaboration that leads the way in projects across the nuclear lifecycle.

Orano also has a long-standing presence in West Cumbria, having opened its office at Westlakes over 10 years ago, with high profile and established contracts with clients such as the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, Sellafield Limited and the UK National Nuclear Laboratory. Orano previously occupied a position on Sellafield Limited’s Parent Body Organisation Nuclear Management Partners, which laid the foundation for a continued peer-to-peer contract for decommissioning and nuclear material management, a position as a lead partner on the Decommissioning Delivery Partnership (DDP) framework, and today a clear contractual route into the Decommissioning Nuclear Waste Partnership (DNWP). Orano is also at the forefront of the UK’s nuclear material management strategy, with unique, world-leading expertise that will have a significant impact on how these materials will be managed for generations to come.

Does this sound like a team you’d like to be part of? We’re particularly on the lookout for new engineering talent, especially in mechanical, process, EC&I, and nuclear safety, alongside engineering managers.
