Bidding to start for £1.8bn North West framework

Procure Partnerships is preparing to start bidding for places on its third-generation North West contractor framework worth up to £1.8bn over the next four years.

Presently around 28 firms holding spots on the second generation framework face a fight to refresh places.

These include BAM, B+K, Graham, Kier, McAlpine, Morgan Sindall, Wates and Willmott Dixon on the existing major projects lot.

The current North West version has already delivered over 150 projects for more than 40 public sector clients, including councils, NHS trusts, blue light services, housing associations and education bodies.

Procured on behalf of Wirral Council, the new framework will sit alongside Procure Partnerships’ national contractor and professional services frameworks.

The framework offers routes including two and single stage, and direct award, with fixed OH&Ps and options for both design and build and build only.

An online supplier engagement session will take place on 14 July, with full tender documents expected in August.

Framework director Faye Dolan said: “As we move into the third generation of the framework, we’re looking forward to continuing that momentum, welcoming both new and returning suppliers to help us support the next phase of public sector investment.”

Interested firms can register for the event by completing the survey (reference DN774242) available on the portal.
