Good Lives Growing Project Open Day
Is your company or business looking for an opportunity to get involved in a community social impact project in its early stages? Come and see us on Wednesday 27th July between 10am and 2pm at the Good Lives Growing Project based at Westlakes Science Park. There are lots of ways to get involved in supporting this project - resources, materials, volunteering, funding - the possibilities are endless, come and have a look for yourself!
Good Lives is a ongoing project for unemployed people over 16 who are looking to get back into work. This project aims to offer real life and employment skills, training & education and health & wellbeing opportunities and the potential to support a range of disadvantaged groups in our local communities while generating produce goods.
You can see how much we are developing the site and have grown already. There will even be a chance for you to sow some seeds.
A shuttle bus will be running from the Skills4You Training Centre on Ennerdale Road in Cleator Moor or you can meet at the project site - more details and location available as a download.
