New European contract to deliver ITER assembly tools
Fusion for Energy (F4E) has signed a new framework contract in remote handling. Five suppliers will compete to develop and build a wide range of tools, designed to manoeuvre heavy components around the ITER tokamak, like the divertor, port plugs and neutral beam injectors.
The selected companies are Aritex, the Ansaldo Nuclear - Dal Ben S.p.A. consortium, De Pretto Industrie Srl, the AVS Added Value Solutions – ESTEYCO consortium, and the ASTURFEITO – Tekniker consortium.
From robotics to virtual reality, these advanced technologies offer fresh opportunities for European industry to innovate and bring new solutions to the market.
