R.A.F General Engineering based in Workington, West Cumbria with highly skilled engineers producing mild and stainless steel precision engineering and machining items incorporating to ISO 9001. We are extremely proud of our extensive facilities that allow us to carry out a wide range of projects. We have recently upgraded our plant and equipment so we can handle up to 5 tonnes in weight. We have a 5000 sq ft. unit engineering machine shop including 7 machining centres, 3 CNC lathes, 3 manual lathes . We have Modern CNC 3D CADCAM computer software which allows us to manufacture to a global level. We also have our own in-house inspection facilities as well as offices and our trade counter supplying power transmission equipment, bearings, oil and lubricants for both industry and general public since 1980 (previously known as Swan Bearings). We have an area designated to stainless Steel Welding and Fabrication area offering TIG and MIG welding services with nuclear (Sellafield Approved), oil and gas industries.
