Innovabox Space Launch - 24th January 2022

After some great feedback on our prototypes, Innova Learning Ltd (a team of 11 nucleargraduates) is proud to announce that Innovabox Space will be launching on the 24th of January 2022. The Innovabox is a ready-made classroom in a box providing classes of 9–11-year-olds with a day’s worth of activities, following the national curriculum and promoting investigation, problem-solving and teamwork.

Innova Learning Ltd operates on a sponsorship and donation model, and all our profits go to the fantastic charity In2scienceUK. In2science UK works to improve diversity and inclusion in STEM by giving disadvantaged Year 12 students the support, skills, and experience to access degrees, apprenticeships, and careers in the sector.

The feedback from the first prototypes sent into schools was hugely rewarding to see after months of hard work from the team. Students said that the Innovabox introduced them to the idea of STEM and helped them to better understand opportunities within STEM. Encouragingly, a vast majority of students came away saying they would be interested in studying STEM subjects in the future. They also thoroughly enjoyed the day’s activities, and some direct quotes can be seen in the accompanying graphic. Additionally, we received positive feedback from the teacher who led the class. They agreed that the Innovabox has clear links to the national curriculum, provided positive STEM learning and successfully engaged students. We are very grateful to the schools for testing the prototype and providing us with helpful feedback to take forward.

We would also like to thank the businesses and individuals who have contributed to the Innovabox so far.
